Q. What is the difference between Linnea Safe and Metacrill?
A. They are both PMMA-based gels for use in bioplasty (enlargement of penile Girth, diminishing wrinkles, augmenting cheeks, etc...). The non-PMMA based ingredients vary between the two products. Both products contain microscopic PMMA beads that trigger an immune reaction from the body that will cause you to produce collagenous tissue that walls off the product, in a 1-2 month period after implantation. The PMMA does not dissolve but the other ingredients leave the body within 3-5 days. Results and reputation of the products vary as well. Linnea Safe is more expensive. The ingredients are below:
Linnea SafePMMAHydroxycellulosePropylparabenMethylparaenWater MetacrillCarboxymethylcelluloseMagnesium Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt dehydrate (Titriplex magnesium)PMMACalcium gluconateLactated Ringer's solution

These kind of comments always make me mad. People get mad that the price of a service or item is in demand increases. They act like the person providing the service should do for nothing. This is how the free market works. I am sure your boss would love to pay you half of what you get now, but if you could swing getting paid double for the same job, you would take it.
Fixed supply and excess demand means that the price of the good or service should increase until the two equal. Basic economics. Anyone not employing this in their business is not optimizing it. You can't really criticize someone for doing that.
Is Dr. C's service the "baragin" it once was? No. But you can't really criticize him for adjusting his prices to meet demand.

Dr. Lemperle's email seemed to suggest they're the same...but he was more focused on trying to help with my Nodule, so the context wasn't totally about that.
If I had LS in round 1, I may not have had the reaction I did in R3... I have no idea what caused that. I only had 15 cc of 30% LS.

Re: Linnea verses MetaCrill
10 years 11 months ago #1288684236Also this procedure is completely an elective procedure. Like a boob job. If you can't afford it, you shouldn't make your family struggle financially to be able to pay for it.
Dr. C is not the Robin Hood of PE... he is a doctor in the business of plastic surgery / aesthetics. A business which is built on people's insecurities and vanity. A business you enter to make money. Sure it has helped a lot of guys out with some very big issues in their lives, but lets not forget what kind of business this is.
Also, he brought back Linnea Safe because everyone here begged him to basically. My impression that I get from them is that its virtually the same stuff, so hence why they say in emails if you want to go the cheaper route, don't feel like you are getting crappier product. It's a different brand (and slightly different product).
I'm one of the few who have had a lot of New Plastic (Linnea Safe) and a lot of Metacrill. Both seemed to work mighty fine for me. Mind you my Linnea Safe was when it was called New Plastic back in 2011 / 2012.

EXPLAIN the difference I want you to because according to people's comments on here there IS NO difference just a uptick in price . I emailed them myself but still waiting on a reply but I would love to hear you explain the difference since your clearly beating around the bush . And yes when you quote someone and say " I hate people like this" and proceed to write a comment based off a comment I made because someone asked a common sense question and I gave them a common sense answer that is the definition of singling someone out, pointlessly at that. And the post about buying a bmw at half price was dumb as hell and irrelevant bmw never would put a car out and then once it became popular double the price they would lose business like that genius but clearly you dont really understand business and say whatever comes to mind . But let's not get off topic because I'm sure I'll never get an answer then just like in those last 2 comments you posted... So without all the extra I'm sure your gonna reply with... what's the DIFFERENCE between Linnea and metacril since your the expert . And THIS is what I meant when I said it won't work out for you so easy dont think because your a "moderator" and I'm a "newbie" on here I ain't gon get back at you when you clearly came for me bruh
@girthseeker. The answer to the price difference between the two products is readily available to you right here on this forum. There is even a handy little search function right there at the top of the screen. Use it.
I never said "I hate people like this." When you quote me, get it right.
With regards to the BMW, use your reading comprehension skills. Your comment was "everybody can't afford 3200 for a round one when they have bills , a family and more going on especially when you don't know how everything is going to turn out plus knowing for sure you have to go back for round 2 . Meanwhile 1500 is way more affordable." Everyone can't afford a BMW. Meanwhile, if it costs less, it would be way more affordable. The point was substituting an example product for the service. Both would be nice to have, if you can afford them. I am sorry if the correlation was missed by you.
And for not knowing a thing about business, I have a double major in finance and marketing along with masters degrees in finance, marketing and information systems. Couple the education with years of owning very successful businesses located across the country. I'd say I know a thing or two about business.
On a side note, there is a difference between "your" and "you're." It would benefit you to know it.
Lastly, I don't give a damn if you are a newbie or a vet, quite frankly. This conversation is over. I am finished engaging with you, bruh.

I just want to point out that when I asked about pushing my appointment back a few weeks because they were getting Linnea Safe in, and I thought it was the better choice. Wade emailed me back, and his response was that they were the same. No mention of being easier to inject and manipulate. So who knows.

Linnea verses MetaCrill
10 years 11 months ago #1288475370I'm new to this forum. Thank you all for such great information.
I'm pretty much convinced that I will go forward with a Girth enlargement from Dr Cervantes in TJ.
I just received an email from Wade. I'm fine with the pricing. It's a lot more than what I've read folks here paid but it's a supply and demand situation. Clearly his reputation is taking off.
The question I have is what's the difference between Linnea and MetaCrill? I realize MetaCrill is older. The price difference is so small. I've read a few threads of the differences but I'm still uncertain. Any one have a good explanation?
Thanks in advance for you help.

Re: Linnea verses MetaCrill
10 years 11 months ago #1288607984He was very honest with me about larger amounts from what they have now seen. Bottom line is what the doc says and what the patient wants are sometimes not the same and in cases where its cosmetic they might listen to the patient and give them the larger amount after telling them the risks but patients dont listen and push them into what they want. I will go with what the doc says and not push at all. No matter how many trips over how many years I have the patience.

10 years 11 months ago #1289497855There is still no clear answer as to Linnea vrs metacrill. I would love to see a chart created with all the users with they're success rates from the 2 products over the years. Wish I had the time to do it (hint hint) lol
