I think the idea of
Belladerm onto a graft is a poor one. The chances of infection must be considerably higher and long term blood supply would surely be an issue with 2 different types of graft material. We are now seeing that grafts tend to turn fibrotic after about a decade. I'd imagine it could be even sooner with 2 types of graft material layered on top of each other.
I know very little about Camacho-Melo. I know he can have only been doing
Belladerm grafts for a very short period of time and until recently was only doing
FFT and
Dermal Grafts. So he can have no idea what his longer term results are with
Belladerm. I'd imagine he's never done a
Belladerm onto dermal before. I can see many potential problems.
Apparently Dan blames the Dr's he previously worked with for letting him down in the past. He's worked with Rhienschild, Krakovsky, Knight, Echenberg (sp?) and Wineland. He moves from Dr to Dr until there reputation is tarnished and he has to find someone else to work with. There is no one left in California, so he's had to move south of the boarder.
I find it difficult to believe that Camacho was the one who wanted to start doing
Dermal Grafts and
Belladerm. So it looks to me as if Dan has more influence over these Dr's than is made out and thus he needs to start taking responsibility for what has happened in the past.
