The fat is taken from another body part and then injected into the penis. Afterwards the penis will be sculpted to achieve the new appearance. This way there is almost no tissue rejection and only a minimal scar is seen. I'm not sure I'd characterize FFT as "bad," since it's your own tissue being used, but I'd also stop short of calling it a great choice either (i.e. lumps, need for continual top-offs, etc).
