I wanted as much as the Dr. would put in in one go. Dr Carney wouldn’t do more than 10 ml per round. Then I read where other providers will do no more than 5 ml in one round. I thought “5 ml? What’s the point??” But, When the HA is injected there is a thin layer of collagen that forms around it. It stands to reason that the more filler the thin layer has to support, the less likely it is to keep it in place over time. I’ve read articles where dr C (avanti) says that barrier eventually breaks - hence the migration. But If you have less injected per round, each time a new collagen layer is being formed. So in my case I had 40 ml over four sessions. If I had had the same amount over 8 sessions there would be more support between each layer of filler and less migration/degradation over time. I’m curious to know if others agree that this is the superior approach with HA. More sessions x less volume per session. I’m definitely excited for volux to hit the market early in 2023, as it’s firmer than voluma. Create a *foundation* of HA, which does in fact induce some collagen growth, and layer it incrementally so that it integrates more in more into the surrounding tissue, perhaps increasing its lifespan and "naturalness." I know clinics like PhalloFILL prefer starting with conversative volumes, and they are seeing a lot of success with it. I looked i to several places but I’m please with PhalloFILL. I can see the Girth. I’m getting a total of 15 units. Going back this week. They give you a sleeve to wear right after the procedure. You wear it for three weeks. You seem some bruising but mine is pretty much gone which I’m happy. I had a little bit of anxiety not knowing what to expect. No pain at all. So far so good.
